Thrips protocol random sample calculator

Instructions:

1. Click "Randomize"
2. Note down the numbers generated on the data sheet.
3. Record the number of thrips (not including phlaeothripidae or aeolothripidae) for each square on the recording sheet.
4. Total all thrips found and multiply by 9.
5. Add any thrips found on the edges of the sticky trap outside of the grid to the total.
6. Record the total number in the "other" section of the recording sheet.

If you're not sure a thrip fits in one cell or the other, go by whichever cell its eyes are in. If its eyes are outside of a cell, count it as off the grid.
